Terms of Use

By downloading or using the AnyReader mobile application ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. License

IndicStudio grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on Android devices you own or control, for lawful purposes, subject to these terms and the Google Play Terms of Service.

2. Advertising

The App is free and supported by advertising served by Google AdMob. Ads are clearly distinguishable from App content. You agree not to interact with ads fraudulently (for example, through repeated artificial clicks or automated tools). Ad personalization can be controlled in your device settings and, where applicable, through the in-app consent dialog.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the App to open, create, edit, or distribute content that is unlawful, harmful, or infringes the rights of others;
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or modify the App except where explicitly permitted by applicable law;
  • Misrepresent the App or redistribute it under your own name or branding.

4. Your Content and Responsibility

  • You retain all rights to the documents you open, edit, or create with the App. IndicStudio claims no ownership of, and has no access to, your files.
  • You are solely responsible for the content of your documents and for maintaining backups of important files.
  • PDF editing always produces a new copy and never alters the original file; nevertheless, you should verify any exported document before relying on it for important purposes.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided free of charge, "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of document rendering, or uninterrupted operation. Document formats vary widely; the App may not display every file perfectly.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, IndicStudio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including but not limited to loss of data or business interruption, arising out of or relating to your use of or inability to use the App.

7. Updates and Availability

The App may be updated from time to time to fix bugs, optimize performance, or add features. IndicStudio may modify or discontinue the App (or any part thereof) at any time without notice. These Terms may be revised alongside an update; continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

8. Third-Party Components

The App is built with the Android platform and open-source AndroidX/Jetpack libraries provided by Google under the Apache License 2.0, and includes the Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) SDK, which is subject to Google's terms. Those components remain subject to their own respective licenses.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles. Disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.
